Twilight Quilting: A Screeching Halt

I've felt the need to be here blogging about something everyday.  I'm afraid if I'm not, all interest (including mine) will be lost.  I also get bored during the day at work so I fill the time by writing something.  I have another personal blog but, when I write there, content hasn't been pleasant--I'm usually ranting about something or someone.  I have a lot of things going on and more problems were piled on this week.  This blog is generally my happy place even if my motives aren't always that pure and I get catty more often than not.

My hopes were dashed this week as far a my Twilight quilting are concerned.  I had planned on finishing the Wedding Quilt and getting it into the quilter by the weekend, but I've been tied up with other things and I haven't been in a quilting mood.  I also started doodling some more in EQ and thought to add another border to the quilt.  I need to say enough is enough and go with what I have but, once I get an idea in my head, I find it hard to ignore the voices egging me on.  One of these voices is touting the benefits of some retail therapy....

We're off to a soccer tournament this weekend for my oldest.  She has a game tonight at 8:30 of all things.  The game was rescheduled from Saturday to Friday so that the team could go see the Rapids, the Colorado MLS team, which was a part of the tournament package.  I do plan on taking my sketchpad and journal up with me so that I can at least work on some ideas to kill the time.

I was excited to be reminded that Breaking Dawn tickets go on pre-sale through Fandango tomorrow!

I've been reading Breaking Dawn.

I've discovered Guri Weinberg's blog, etc. (link)
