Fork's Forest (KMA Twilight Quilt)

I only have some virtual quilting to report.

There are two sections of Forks Forest at the top and bottom of the KMA Twilight Quilt.  The sections are 6"x32".  I've been working on trees, pieced and applique.  I needed a reason to learn how to draw in EQ7!  I only have a few things to share today as I'm still working on things.

I made one pp tree pattern by tracing an EQuiltPatterns pattern (link).  The nice thing about making it in EQ is that I can change the sizes easily for the pattern and before printing and not have to use a copy machine to reduce or enlarge the pattern.  The trees have to be different sizes to be interesting.

I used a grey fabric for the sky instead of blue on purpose.

I got wonky, too....  (These trees are inspired by trees in EQ Town and Country Patchwork.)

I haven't given up on applique:

I will trace the trees in EQ to make a pattern...once I learn how to do that!

****Please note:  I have to come clean about the KMA Twilight Quilt.  It isn't my design.  The design was shared with me while a member of TQC or as known now, Twi-Quilters.  (Elizabeth Mills)  If designs and ideas can routinely be borrowed from me and other people, then I don't feel bad at all in returning the favor....  I don't know if it's an exact replica as I was working from a diagram, but it's darn close.
