Try Googling celtic quilt patterns for instance!
One of my goals is to have my blocks be fairly self explanatory. I don't really want anyone looking at my blocks and saying to themselves, "What is that supposed to be?!" We've probably all had that experience recently......
I can't make up my mind about the Irish Coven block.
Quilter's Cache has a block that would be good and it's paper pieced! It's called Celtric Sunrise. (link) Even the name is appropriate.
My other favorite is an image I found online by searching for celtric shamrock:
(only credit I have is here)
I might replace Irish with Éireannach.
I guess I'd need to figure out if I'm up to learning a new technique:
This is all I can manage right now. I'm still sick. I worked out the Isle Esme house on graph paper but I can't figure it out in EQ7. My lines keep getting messed up because I can't figure out "snapping". I at least know what size it will be. I also diagrammed all the elements for the quilt back on graph paper. Oh, my gosh! I looked at the Jaguar pattern and it looks impossible. I don't think the fabrics are color coded well enough for me and I don't have the money to go buy fabric anyway. I also have a plan for the Preface block--a pregant Bella. If I could just bring myself to sew.....
