Quilting Immortality

I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving.  Mine was bittersweet.  This year was the first year that I did all the cooking.  We may or may not have another dinner on Saturday for my sister, who had to work all day yesterday as a retail assistant manager, since yesterday about did my mom in.  I'm trying to get ahold of my emotions today.  I'm trying to stay positive, but I'm having difficulty doing so.

I'm going to make a concerted effort to get things done.  The only way I will achieve immortality is through my quilting.  My time is finite.  I need to stop wasting so much time.

My plan for today is to use my EQ5 Drawing book to figure out how to make a pattern for this tree:

I want to use it for the trees in the KMA Twilight Quilt.  I haven't given up making this quilt.  Yes, I have made peace about certain things and people, but that doesn't mean that I'm willing to give up on certain projects.

I have a ton of other things to finish, and I keep telling myself I will.  I can't bring myself to sew for some reason.  I hope to change that this weekend!

I'm in love with this picture.  I'm going to try to use it for the Wedding Couple block.  I've just got to figure out how to do it...

I believe the photo is featured in the 12/5 People...on stands now.

****Please note: I have to come clean about the KMA Twilight Quilt. It isn't my design. The design was shared with me while a member of TQC or as known now, Twi-Quilters. (Elizabeth Mills) If designs and ideas can routinely be borrowed from me and other people, then I don't feel bad at all in returning the favor.... I don't know if it's an exact replica as I was working from a diagram, but it's darn close.
