Twilight Book Cover Block (Twilight Hands/Forbidden Fruit): Version 3?!

What?!  Why is this block sideways?  Is this better?

I used "Serendipity" in EQ7 at 45* to take the Version 2/Simpler Twilight Book Cover block and essentially set it on-point in the pattern to be more efficient.  Why?  Well, the block is "on-point" in the Stephenie Meyer Quilt, I have plans to make my own, and to share the instructions for said quilt in 2012.

There is a difference in the blocks.

You could use the original block, but fabric would need to be added and the arms extended in order for the block to be squared up and cut on-point from the enlarged block.  (Don't I know I learned this when a certain someone added to my block for the original SM Quilt.)

I've done this so all this extra work doesn't have to be done, as well as, saving some fabric.

I still have to group and number the pattern in EQ7 so it can be printed as a PDF and saved.  All this work is for another day, though.
