Walmart Breaking Dawn DVD Fabric Poster

Isn't it pretty?!  Sally sent me a picture....  (I sure hope those creases come out!)

The quilters in all of us thought.....poster.....fabric.....QUILT!  An heirloom quilt to be sure as I'm not sure I could really use it after it was made.

Lydia and I talked about the poster, too.  I had visions of satin and lace blocks.

I've even had a person or two visit looking for ideas on what do it with it.

I think it will be a fun....and intimidating project.

At the very least, I need to do some research about the fabric:  sewing with it and it's care.

I have had the opportunity to "touch" this fabric and it reminds me a lot of Spoonflowers' Sateen.....

....hmmmmmm

That really sends me in another direction!

  2. The wrinkles do steam out. Surprised there wasn't any fabric content tag on the panel. Just hung it in my sewing room and I have seen just the panels for sale on ebay and they had a few copies of the Wedding DVD left at my Walmart.

    1. That IS good news! I was worried about the wrinkles...

LOL, there is always Ebay. My Walmart is out of the DVDs with the poster.

    2. I want to see someone do something with it. The one blog I saw after my search mentioned using it as a quilt back. I'd like to see it featured in a quilt, though.

  3. The quilt in the background is a music quilt that I made for my husband :)

No quilt on my bed..... I did finally make my hubby a quilt. He forgets to use it, though. I plan on making him a Broncos or C.U. quilt by next season.
